In spite of the development of
satellite, cable, video & DVD technology,
sitting
down to watch a Christmas film or two on one of the olde worlde
TV channels is still
a part of Christmas for many people. For everyone else there is the
nostalgia for those days. And of course, the great thing
about all the
choice we have now is that you are sure to find some films that you really want
to watch somewhere. The films Christmas Matters have recommended here are not all necessarily about Christmas, in say the way that Scrooged or Miracle on 34th St are, but they are all set at Christmas & have something about them that just says 'Christmas' to us.
Our recommendations:
Christmas in Connecticut It's
a Wonderful Life The Bishop's Wife The Thin Man The Shop Around the Corner And
there will be more to come! |
