These
felt stockings are fun to make & have a multitude of uses - as
tree decorations, as wrapping for small gifts, as Christmas card
toppers
& place markers at the Christmas dinner table. You could also
use them for party favours at kids' Christmas parties. The

is to personalise them You will need: Paper
& pen Method: Draw a stocking template & cut out 2 from your felt. Cut 2 small rectangular pieces of felt for the trim. Fix the trim to the top of each stocking shape with a thin layer of glue & leave to dry. Before sewing the 2 halves of the stocking together decorate with beads, sequins, glitter or whatever else takes your fancy. Sew the stocking together using blanket stitch or a small running stitch. Attach a ribbon to hang the stocking (if you want to put it on your tree or hang elswhere). | ||||
