The cost of buying & sending Christmas cards can really mount up. You can, of course buy charity cards which is obviously a great idea, but if you have loads to send & need to do it cheaply then homemade is the way to go. And if there are creative talents in the household - or even just folks who like making a mess - it can be great fun.

We've listed some very simple card ideas that are designed for doing with young children or by adults at the last minute, and some more sophisticated ideas for adults & older kids who are really into making stuff, learning new skills & who fancy a challenge. Of course all of these are adaptable for gift tags too.

We also have a whole host of ideas for wrapping your presents. Here at Christmas Matters we love the surprise & festivity that wrapping paper brings but we hate the expense & the waste.
