November
General things to do this month:Start
to think
about the wildlife in your garden - if you haven't already! Buy some wild bird food
& you could even make
a hedgehog box or buy a basic
or more advanced
model. On
the same note, make sure your bird feeders are well topped up. They'll
need it! In 2008, we've got nuthatches, blue tits, great tits, coal
tits, long-tailed tits, dunnocks and a pugnacious robin visiting and
all needing food! Plan for Advent and decide whether you
want to give
anything up or take on something new Finalise
your Christmas present list - and start dropping hints to your friends
and family! Start serious work on any homespun presents you want to make - knitting, sewing, art projects. Here are some more ideas It's a good idea to
order your turkey and other Christmas provisions if you are that way inclined. Fancy making your own mincemeat? It's well worth it and a good time to do it is from late November onwards. If
you're buying presents from websites, start thinking about putting your
orders in case of any delays Start putting together & updating your Christmas card list & if you are really organised you can start making some cards now
