Planning Ahead...At Christmas Matters we love to start Christmas early. Not in that high street 'put up you Christmas tree on Oct 1' kind of way, but doing bits & pieces now & then so we aren't overwhelmed in December. It's also part of our philosophy of making the most of all of the yearly festivals & enjoying the riches of the different seasons. So, here's the Christmas Matters calendar in which we've suggested some ideas for preparation & celebration in the summer, autumn and winter months. Not all of these are to do with Christmas, but all are about celebrating the seasons as they happen and making the most of the year as it winds to a close in December. We think it's a shame that Christmas is one of the only truly shared seasons left and would like to think about the rest of the year in the same way. | ||||
